UK Christmas Traditions
Gift giving is usally on Christmas day which is December 25th with other family members.
Kids usally find socks or stockings filled with small gifts either in thier room or somewhere else through out the house.
Gifts are given by Father Christmas and he travels by sleigh pulled by reindeer. He usually eats mince pies and brandy.
The typical Christmas dinner is eaten midday on Christmas day. The dinner conisit of roast turkey or goose, brussel sprouts, roast potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, tiny sauages wrapped in bacon and lashings of hot gravy. the dessert is typically pudding. Some other traditions are that they put up two christmas trees and decorate the stairwell with lights. in their fireplaces they have yule logswhich symbolizes Christmas. There are nativity plays and sometimes children partcipate in it too
